Essential Two Tier Rack

Space efficient, cost effective high density cycle parking.

The Essential Two Tier Rack adds an upper level to your cycle parking area, doubling the number of spaces you can provide in the same footprint. Ideal for workplaces, transport hubs, university campuses or any location with a requirement for high density cycle parking.

The upper channels are mounted on runners, allowing them to extend clear of the lower level. The channel can then be angled down to meet the floor so bikes can be loaded and locked conveniently. A gas spring mechanism takes the weight of the bike, allowing the user to easily lift the channel and slide it into place.

Both the upper and lower levels are fixed at alternating heights, allowing the handlebars to overlap. Each channel also features a wheel holder to support the bike and a hardened steel locking point to to secure the bike at the frame and wheels. At 64mm wide, the channels accommodate the larger tyre sizes found on modern e-bikes. Highly visible red powder-coated handles are featured on the upper channels.

The Essential Two Tier Rack can be configured in a single sided arrangement, or back-to-back with access from both sides. Installations can start from just four spaces, up to a maximum of 28 spaces on the same support.

To cater for non-standard cycles or cargo bikes, we recommend providing Sheffield Stands or similar alongside this product.
